About me
Sunny Liu joined OnDeck in DC seven years ago and stuck around through the Enova acquisition. Her employer has been considerably more stable than her address: she moved from DC to Dallas during the pandemic and, most recently, to Chicago. Before entering software engineering domain, she earned two degrees in biomedical engineering, leaving her with the oddly specific ability to solder circuits, write in Assembly language, read X-ray or MRI images, and identify a surprising number of body parts that never come up in sprint planning. She also has a dog that looks suspiciously like a coyote and has followed her up snowy mountains, down to the ocean, and across multiple state lines. Her dog’s travel résumé may be better than some people’s.
